Sometimes.. something hold you back, and you later you regret and want that moment back. Its very hard to get back the moments when you had an opportunity to "Give". Something like this happened with me a few days ago.
It was my second day at 'Kailash Hospital' in Noida. I had to collect my blood report and see my doctor Mr. Manas. I was feeling a lot better than the previous day and there was no sign of temperature. I was patiently waiting at reception of O.P.D. for my turn to get the appointment number from the clerk while a person in his middle age came and stood beside me.
I'm sure he was in his middle age but his face wrinkles were telling me some other story.. his height was not more than 5 ft... he was wearing a two piece ! one pajama and one whitewash dotted dark kurta.
"Doctor sahab se salah hui jae"? - The person asked the receptionist, showing him two prescription slips in his hand. (Can I consult the doctor?)
"salah leni hai, bus" - he repeated again.
"Haan, 220 Rupey lagenge" - the receptionist replied (The fee is Rs. 220)
"salah leni hai, hui jai to"
"Woh, bina fees ke nahin dekhege, jao jakar puch lo" - Receptionist gave him his papers back.
(He won't entertain you without fee, you may try yourself)
And that man left the counter.
Well, it was clear that he wasn't having money with him and needed some attention.
I handed over my report and prescription and the receptionist gave me the report back with my appointment number.
Currently, it was turn of 11th number and mine was 12. The man was stading by the the side of the door. The LED display flashed 12 and that man entered the doctor's cabin. I knew that its better to give him time as I wanted to see if the doctor help him for free or not.. I had made up my mind till then to help him with the consultation fee in case the doctor refuses to help him. I halted for about half a minute and the entered the cabin.
"Aao Negi, aao". - He knows the patient's name coz he has the slip in advance.
He directed to him - "Aap bahar baithia and come after him".
Well, I didn't take his much time and came out and waited for that man.
"Doctor ne kya kaha (What did the doctor say)"? - I asked him as soon as he came out !
"Dawai lane ko kaha hai" - He replied
And may be my ego crashed ! .. its good the humanity is still alive...
"Aapko kya hua"? - He asked
"Mughe ! , kuch nahin bus thoda sa bukhar" -.. .
-- And I thought that I should not wait or ask about him or should not guess who's ill he or his son.. who was walking with his fragile figure beside him or his wife or .. as I will happen to pay for his medicines .. the heart melts, you know......... and I stepped back and hurried towards the door..
I waited there to check the generiosity of the doctor ! as I suspected him.. but.. but .. I lost a golden opportunity to help somebody in real need. And I came back home with shattered ego, alot of questions, alot of well wishes for him and his family and a little bit of tears.. Will I ever meet him again..
I salute that doctor .. you are great.

One question please, no I'm not a single or first person to ask this question.
Why there's so much uneven distrubution of money in the world, why there's no equality, why the gap is increasing day by day?
